On October 20, Lai Kunming, a member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of the Changsha Economic Development Zone, led a team to visit our company. They conducted an on-site inspection of the complete equipment manufacturing workshop and held the “Hengkai Electric Co., Ltd. Production-Requirement Matching Meeting.” This visit not only enabled the Management Committee to gain a deeper understanding of our company’s actual development situation but also facilitated precise government-enterprise matching, injecting strong momentum into our company’s in-depth cultivation in the fields of power equipment and new energy.

That afternoon, Deputy Director Lai Kunming and his delegation first visited our company’s workshop for the manufacturing of complete sets of equipment. On the production floor, led by Chairman Li Guiping, the research team carefully examined the production processes for high- and low-voltage complete sets of equipment, the operational status of the equipment, and the quality-control procedures. They also listened attentively to briefings on the R&D and iterative improvements of intelligent power distribution equipment as well as upgrades to production processes. Deputy Director Lai Kunming highly praised our company’s achievements in areas such as core technology accumulation, standardized production management, and product market applications.

After the survey concluded, the “Hengkai Electric Co., Ltd. Production-Consumption Matching Conference” was held in the conference room on the third floor of the Blue Industrial Park. At the meeting, Li Guiping, Chairman of the company, first provided a comprehensive introduction to the company’s situation for Deputy Director Lai Kunming and his delegation: Since its establishment in 2013, Hengkai Electric has consistently adhered to the principles of “focus, professionalism, and specialization,” deeply cultivating the fields of power engineering and new energy. Today, it has become a comprehensive enterprise integrating power engineering design and construction, equipment manufacturing, photovoltaic energy storage, and operation and maintenance services. The company has six controlled subsidiaries, including Hengkai Electric Cambodia Co., Ltd. and Hengkai Chunqiu Electric Thailand Co., Ltd. Currently, the company employs over 200 people, with nearly 30% being engineering and technical personnel. All employees hold relevant certifications; among them, one employee has been awarded the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. The company has been recognized as a “National High-Tech Enterprise,” a “Leading Enterprise in the National New Generation Independent and Secure Computing System Industry Cluster,” a “Specialized, Refined, Unique, and Innovative Enterprise of Hunan Province,” and a “Demonstration Enterprise in Hunan Province Supporting Rural Revitalization.” It is listed on the “Specialized, Refined, Unique, and Innovative” board of the Hunan Equity Exchange and is classified as a large-scale enterprise. Furthermore, it has been honored by the United Front Work Department of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Federation of Overseas Chinese as one of the “Top Ten Cases of Overseas Chinese Assistance for High-Quality Development in Hunan Province.” The company holds multiple core qualifications, including general contracting licenses for power engineering and permits for installation, renovation, and testing of electrical facilities. It also boasts abundant intellectual property achievements, such as patents and computer software copyrights.

During the Q&A session with various departments, heads from the Changsha Economic Development Zone’s Bureau of Economic Development, Bureau of Planning and Construction, Bureau of Finance and Financial Affairs, Business Environment Service Center, Group Corporation, Urban Construction Company, Lidu Real Estate, Xingsha Water Services, Economic Development Printing & Publishing, Water Quality Purification Company, and Safety Supervision Division of the Safety Committee Office—among others—responded one by one to the policy inquiries, financing needs, and industrial chain cooperation issues raised by our company. They provided specific solutions covering policy interpretation, financial support, and resource matching, allowing us to truly experience the warmth and efficiency of the Economic Development Zone’s “point-to-point service.”

Subsequently, in his speech, Deputy Director Lai Kunming gave full recognition to our company’s development potential. He pointed out that Hengkai Electric, as a key enterprise in the intelligent manufacturing sector within the Economic Development Zone, is highly aligned with the zone’s industrial upgrade direction through its exploration of the integrated development of power equipment manufacturing and new energy. Its strong technological capabilities and well-planned market strategy demonstrate the vitality and potential of high-tech and specialized, sophisticated, and innovative enterprises. He also proposed three targeted support directions: The Changsha Economic Development Zone will always take enterprises’ needs as the guiding principle for its services. All departments should seize this opportunity presented by the matchmaking meeting to—first, precisely align with policies designed to benefit enterprises and proactively promote benefits related to qualification upgrades and R&D support; second, precisely address practical challenges such as supply chain collaboration and market expansion; and third, precisely build platforms to facilitate cooperation between enterprises and other companies and research institutions within the zone, helping enterprises integrate into the local industrial and supply chains and achieve collaborative growth. At the same time, he encouraged Hengkai Electric to continue increasing its R&D investment, focusing on technological breakthroughs in smart power distribution and photovoltaic new energy, constantly enhancing its core competitiveness, and contributing even more to the high-quality development of Hunan’s intelligent manufacturing industry.

This research and matchmaking meeting not only reflects the Management Committee’s recognition of our company’s development, but also represents an important opportunity for government-enterprise collaboration. Moving forward, Hengkai Electric will remain true to its mission—“focusing on the energy sector and driving urban development”—and, fueled by the support of the Management Committee, will continue to enhance its core technological competitiveness. We will deepen our expertise in intelligent manufacturing and new energy fields, contributing even more “Hengkai strength” to the high-quality development of the Changsha Economic Development Zone’s industries.
