With the completion of the artificial short-circuit test of the pole I metal return line of Qingnan Railway Station, the artificial short-circuit test of 800 kV Qingnan Converter Station has been successfully completed, which verifies that the Qingyu ± 800 kV DC UHV project can resist the system grounding fault, and the near-area new energy station meets the fault crossing requirements and the engineering delivery conditions.
The Qingyu ± 800 kV DC UHV project completely relies on the complementary ability of clean energy to supply power independently. It is the first UHV channel specially built for the delivery of clean energy in the world, providing a high-speed road for the development of new energy in Hainan and Haixi regions of Qinghai Province. It is precisely because of the high proportion of new energy in the near area of Qingyu DC UHV project that when DC high-power transmission occurs, the faults that occur are easy to have a great impact on the system voltage, which is easy to cause a large area of the near area new energy station to take off the grid and affect the reliability of new energy transmission. At the same time, the new energy station will further deteriorate the system voltage and produce chain reaction. Therefore, the Qingyu DC system itself and the near-area new energy station fault ride-through capacity requirements are extremely high.
"The AC/DC artificial short-circuit test is just like the' exercise test' before the Qingyu DC UHV project is sent out. By setting artificial short-circuit faults, we test the operating state of the power grid and whether the near-area new energy station can withstand the voltage drop under the condition of instantaneous faults, meet the requirements of fault crossing capability, and ensure that large-area disconnection accidents will not occur." Song Rui, head of the field test of the Qinghai Academy of Electric Sciences of the State Grid, introduced.
It is reported that a total of 1 800 kV converter station bus voltage was measured on site, 3 750 kV substations and 3 330 kV new energy collection stations were selected for bus voltage monitoring, 15 750 kV lines and 14 330 kV lines were selected for PMU data monitoring and sorting, and 8 new energy collection stations were selected for PMU data monitoring and sorting.
At 9: 14 a.m. on July 10, Qingyu DC rectifier side and inverter side power grids coordinated to carry out the AC/DC artificial short circuit test. During this period, a total of 4 artificial short circuit tests were carried out. Real-time tests were carried out simultaneously at 20 measuring points in Qinghai Province to monitor the interaction between AC/DC hybrid power grids and verify the bearing capacity of key network-related equipment in new energy stations.
The complete success of this test provides important data support for the State Grid Corporation to analyze the operating characteristics of the new energy station in the near-area of Qingyu DC. At the same time, it verifies that the inverter transformation project of the photovoltaic power station in Qinghai Province is effective and the Qinghai Power Grid has Strong anti-disturbance ability.
